    • Emergency tests such as blood and imaging tests are promptly performed according to the patient's symptoms, treatment and procedures. Also, consultation with other department is requested if necessary.
    • The priority of treatment in the emergency room is based on the emergency symptoms, not when it was received.
(The definition of emergency symptoms is in accordance with Article 2 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Emergency Medical Services Act)
    • For patients suspected of having an infectious disease, separate treatment is provided in the screening room for a safe treatment culture.
  • When you are allowed to be discharged after receiving emergency treatment, you will make a payment at the administrative office and get prescriptions before discharge home.
  • Those who have received a hospitalization decision by the attending physician will proceed with the hospitalization process after completing the procedures at the administrative office of the Emergency Department.

Emergency medical management fees

In accordance with Article 2 of the Emergency Medical Services Act, emergency medical management fees are accrued for first aid and emergency medical treatment for patients with emergency symptoms. However, if you do not fall under any of the emergency symptoms or symptoms equivalent to those, you will be responsible for the full cost. The emergency medical management fees are collected separately from the filing fee according to the national policy to prevent congestion in the emergency room due to non-emergency patients.
