Greetings,
To the citizens of Siheung who love Shihwa Medical Center and all the beloved members of the Shihwa Medical Center family, I am Seung-il Kang, the newly appointed hospital director. For over 20 years, Shihwa Medical Center has prioritized patient safety and strived to provide the highest quality medical services to the people of the southwestern Gyeonggi region, including Siheung City, without excluding anyone.

Furthermore, as operating the first Cardio-Neuro-Vascular Center in Siheung City, we have protected countless golden hours for severe and emergency vascular disease patients. In December 2022, we achieved another milestone by successfully performing the first cardiac surgery in the Siheung area, establishing ourselves as a regional benchmark for cardiac surgery. Additionally, we have achieved cancer treatment near home by implementing multidisciplinary integrated care, providing a one-stop approach from cancer diagnosis to treatment.

In the near future, we aim for Shihwa Medical Center to extend beyond the southwestern Gyeonggi region and establish itself as a core medical institution in South Korea. We will strive to provide high-level medical services by recruiting specialized medical professionals with abundant clinical experience based with the mindset of starting anew from the beginning.

Furthermore, we will improve our medical system through continuous research and education and strengthen our capabilities to treat critical and emergency cases. We will continue faithfully fulfilling our role as healthcare providers in the local community to earn the trust and confidence of everyone who visits Shihwa Medical Center.
