In the emergency medical center at Shihwa Medical Center, 8 emergency medicine specialists and nurses are available 24/7 to provide an early and systematic emergency medical care. We have an emergency treatment system via organic collaboration with specialized departments as well as prompt initial treatment for patients with severe emergency diseases such as myocardial infarction, heart/cerebrovascular disease, and trauma patients. In addition, we provide accurate diagnosis and treatment for emergency patients with various diseases in the fields of internal medicine, surgery, and pediatrics and we are doing our best to restore the patient's conditions to or close to normalcy in the shortest possible time.

Our emergency room provides efficient and high-quality emergency care according to the Korean Emergency Patient Classification Tool (KTAS), which is used to measure a patient's main symptoms and vital signs. In addition, from the moment of visiting the emergency room to the end of treatment such as discharge and hospitalization, the patient's conditions are constantly monitored, and sufficient explanation and information are provided to enhance caregiver’s stability. Shihwa Medical Center, which is located near the Sihwa Industrial Complex and Banwol Industrial Complex, takes care of emergency treatment for work related accidents, as well as various health problems of local residents and safety accidents of tourists that occur in neighboring areas such as Daebudo, Oido, Yeongheungdo, Ansan, and Incheon.
