Central nervous system rehabilitation
A professional team of experienced specialists, who have completed central neurodevelopmental therapy education (PNF, NDT, Bobath) with the goal of improving motor function and physical independence of stroke, traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury patients, sets treatment goals through examination and evaluation and provides customized treatment according to the patient’s needs.
01.
Mat and movement training
As a variety of activity training that takes place on the mat, this training is for patients with central nervous system diseases such as hemiplegia, lower extremity paraplegia, quadriplegia, and cerebral palsy, or patients with limb amputation. Mat training includes standing, sitting, balancing, and lying down to muscle strength and functional joint range of motion and mobility training, incline training, and pre-standing and pre-gait training to improves body balance.
02.
Gait training
It minimizes abnormal gait caused by muscle coordination disorders and paralysis, and practicing normal gait patterns induces functional and effective gait.
03.
Functional electrical stimulation therapy
It gives functional electrical stimulation to patients with central nervous system damage such as spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, and paralysis due to musculoskeletal disorders, to activate nerve roots and prevent muscle atrophy and stiffness. It also prevents abnormal gait patterns and enables efficient gait through muscle retraining. For hemiplegic patients, gait training, alleviation of stiffness of the lower extremities, and maintaining or increasing the range of motion of the joints help to improve the ability to move in daily life.
04.
Exercise treatment
An electric standing training table, an electric standing trainer, an electric upper and lower extremity exerciser, and an upper and lower extremity interlocking exerciser can be used to improve overall body strength and endurance. It helps to maintain proper muscle tension through various and controlled body movements, and acquire proper posture control and functional movements through re-learning of normal movements. We focus on the maximum development of the remaining capacity according to the patient's condition.
