“At the Department of Neuropsychiatry, we diagnose and treat various mental diseases that occur due to complex causes such as biological, social, environmental and psychological factors, etc., involving the brain that belongs to the central nervous system of our body.”
From depression, panic disorder, and schizophrenia, which are recently
emerging as social problems, to addiction disorders such as smoking
cessation, alcohol, and gambling, our focus is on rehabilitation for
mental health recovery and return to society. In particular, we have
a system of managing the mental health of cancer patients to improve
the quality of life for patients and their caregivers.
For accurate diagnosis of mental disorders, we conduct clinical
tests such as imaging tests, EEG tests, and heart rate variability
measurements. Through counseling, we build empathy with patients
on their psychological pain and help them to maintain their precious
daily life with appropriate medication.
